MEET THE BOARD: emilie davis

Emilie has called Rockbridge County home since graduating from Southern Virginia University in 2006, and she and her husband, Logan, have been raising their five children in Lexington since 2012. As the owner of Magic Mirror Marketing, Emilie works with clients locally and nationally to turbocharge their marketing and grow their businesses in ways that feel personal, authentic, and fun.

Emilie also serves as president of the Virginia Chapter of the National Speakers Association, sits on the Rockbridge Symphony Orchestra’s steering committee, and is proud to serve on the Main Street Lexington Promotions committee. She joined the MSL board in 2025.

Emilie's Lexington Favorites: Hot Chocolate

"One of my favorites is at Pronto, because it just has a very creamy chocolate, and I love getting flavors added to it. Some of my favorites are coconut, or Ube, a unique flavor which was recommended by Tequlia. She's always great with suggestions, whether it's peppermint bark or seasonal flavors. It just adds a little something special to the order."
"I love going to Wildberry Market for their lavender hot chocolate. Just the way that they make it, there's something different about it. It's very calming and soothing, and it just really makes me feel cozy on these cold days.
"Blue Sky Bakery sometimes has a milk chocolate hot chocolate, which tastes like a Cadbury egg melted down and made into a hot beverage. It doesn't seem like they have it all the time, but that one's really good.
"The drinking chocolate at Seasons is very thick and delicious. It does take a little getting used to, because it's different than hot chocolate, and it's kind of a seasonal, special treat. When you get it in-house, the presentation's very nice, they have a cute cup, and it just makes you feel like you're in a cafe in France."
