Economic Vitality
Meets the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at Brew Ridge Taps.
Helps existing businesses, encourages new downtown businesses, and helps visitors conveniently navigate our downtown. Responsibilities include market research, workforce issues, and downtown residential living.

Design
Meets the third Thursday of each month at 11:00 a.m.
Responsible for all downtown beautification projects, including street planters, outdoor seating, public art, bike racks, and alley improvements. Coordinates a downtown beauty blitz on the first Saturday of each month.

Promotions
Coordinates volunteer efforts for Main Street Lexington events, works with staff to develop marketing and communication strategies, and sponsors the monthly Main Street Morning meeting with downtown business owners.
The Main Street Morning meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. All business owners are invited to hear about the next month's upcoming events, get a recap of the current month's activities, and share ideas, concerns, and observations with other owners. Occasionally, a guest speaker is invited to discuss timely and noteworthy topics.

Organization
Comprised of the officers from our board of directors, this committee meets on an ad hoc basis. Serves as the housekeeping arm of the board. Responsibilities include board member recruitment, financial oversight, donor outreach, and community forums.
