Helps existing businesses, encourages new downtown businesses, and helps visitors conveniently navigate our downtown. Responsibilities include market research, workforce issues, and downtown residential living.

Design
Meets the third Thursday of each month at 11:00 a.m. in the MSL office.
Responsible for all downtown beautification projects, including street planters, outdoor seating, public art, bike racks, and alley improvements. Coordinates a downtown beauty blitz on the first Saturday of each month.

Promotions
Meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:15 a.m. in the MSL office.
Coordinates volunteer efforts for Main Street Lexington events, works with staff to develop marketing and communication strategies, and sponsors regular merchant meetings with downtown business owners.

Organization
Comprised of the officers from our board of directors, this committee meets on an ad hoc basis. Serves as the housekeeping arm of the board. Responsibilities include board member recruitment, financial oversight, donor outreach, and community forums.
