The Board of Directors of MAIN STREET LEXINGTON is seeking a full-time Main Street Executive Director to manage programs designed to promote economic revitalization in the context of historic preservation for downtown Lexington. Position requires a dynamic, outgoing leader with a proven ability to multi-task and deliver results, cultivate strong relationships with public and private sector leaders, and work collaboratively to develop creative solutions that will benefit the entire community. Applicants should possess excellent communication, public relations, and managerial skills. Proven preservation-based economic or community development track record and experience with the National Main Street Four-Point Approach preferred; experience in special event planning, small business development, and volunteer recruitment/management a plus.
